The Critical Public Health Network aims to advance education and research in public health policy and practice through improving awareness and uptake of social science in the field of public health.

To achieve these aims, the network provides a forum for a group of critically minded social scientific and medical public health researchers, clinicians and activists to foster inter and intra public health disciplinary working. The purpose of the network is to:

  • Offer a point of contact for public health practitioners interested in social science/humanities in public health
  • Provide a network for information/knowledge exchange for members to enhance research, policy, and education on and for public health.
